So I gestured for her to give my money back if she didn't want it. All the while shaking her cup asking me to give more. The moment I put it in her cup, her eyes opened wide, she took the coin out and started cussing at me in her language. We were low on funds but I felt bad as she had a couple of kids sleeping next to her so I gave her the €0.50 I had left in my pocket. When we were in Belgium I encountered this old woman that seemed to be a refugee begging for money. If someone ran out of money and needs gas money to get to work and the only thing they can think of is to make a status update on Facebook asking if anyone can spare them some money, they aren't really being choosy.
